Get Back on Track

I apologize for the long absence. I have been working on my new book, and I do work long hours during the week. However, that is not an excuse to be slacking on my blog page. The truth is that I’ve simply been lazy.

I’m thinking about a theme that would motivate me to post blogs more consistently. Until then, I decided to write what was on my mind. I could have wrote a blog about the United States election, but in my opinion writing about it would frustrate me more than what’s currently going on with it.

I could continue to write about my interpretation of Christianity, but after a while it starts to become repetitive. That doesn’t mean I will stop writing about it completely. It means I won’t write about it as much. You have plenty of preachers and spiritual warriors that can enlighten you about the subject much more effectively than I can.

I could just write poetry. I like expressing my thoughts in creative, poetic ways. The truth of the matter is, I don’t consider myself a poet. It doesn’t mean I will stop writing poetry. It just mean I don’t want that to be the focus of my blog site.

The question is what will I write about? I’m still working on that. I just wanted to let those that follow my blog site know that I’m still here. My desire is to be much more consistent writing blogs with a specific theme. Hopefully by next week, I will have something in mind that will motivate me to write on a consistent basis, and something that you will look forward to reading on a consistent basis.

  1. It’s hard to maintain a blog while writing a book AND working. I don’t think you’re lazy. I think you’re just stretched too thin, at least where creativity is concerned. Wishing you all the best and am looking forward to what you have to share next week!
