But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

–Philippians 4:19 KJV

Things have not looked so good for the moment. In 2020, we have dealt with COVID-19, an abuse of authority by law enforcement, mass unemployment, and escalating hate from white supremacist. It makes you wonder how we will get through all of this.

I believe we can do this by continuing to do good and by remembering the Word of God. We do good by caring for others and by finding new ways to provide for our loved ones. It says in Psalm 128:2, “For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.” Our country has continuously dealt with economic hardships throughout history. The thing that has uplifted us eventually is our hustling mentality. By hustling, I don’t mean sinning — I mean working according to the Word God provided in the beginning.

If you’re poised to pursue prosperity, please patiently perceive the prose presented in Proverbs 22:4. It says, “By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life.” We should remember this when we persist through financial strife. I believe the practice of meditating on the Word and the initiation of a positive work ethic and attitude will eventually increase our financial aptitude.
