Renewed

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Psalm 51:10 NIV

I want to apologize to the ones that originally followed this blog site. I created it to inspire and to hopefully improve someone’s life. Instead, my blogs have been all over the place. They have been unfocused and unorganized, possibly causing confusion among some of you.

In some of my latest blog, I wrote poetry. I don’t see anything wrong with doing this, but the problem with my poetry was that some of it didn’t follow the theme of this blogsite. In one of my poems, I wrote about how I felt about some people in authority, which came off as judgmental and a little hateful. Another poem I wrote was very sexual, once again going against the theme of this site.

I also started placing excerpts from my book “Pleasurable Consequences” on this page, which was a book that has numerous references to sex in it. I’m all for promoting my work, but that book did nothing to promote my website and its purpose.

Now I want to get back to why I started this blog page to begin with; to write inspiring messages using the Word of God. Does it mean that I will stop writing poetry? Of course not. It does mean, however, that any poetry I write for now on will either be love-inspired or God-inspired.

I will also continue to place excerpts from future books on this site, but those books will not be about sex or any other sin. The two books I am working on are both Christian-inspired. That means in the future, I will get to promote my work plus promote the Word of God.

I hope my old and new followers understand the decision I made starting today. I just hope that you will continue following this page and continue supporting me. I hope each and every one of you have a blessed Memorial Day. Please don’t forget about the ones that lost their lives defending this country. Thank you.
