Remembrance of sorrow and pain
Thoughts of despair in my brain
Every day it seemed like it rained
And it felt like I’m going insane
God took notice of this
Cause he saw that I was pissed
Listening all along
He tried to correct what went wrong
While deep in thought, I heard a sound
So beautiful, it turned me around
It was an angel singing a song
A vocal range that knew no bounds
Illumination of beauty radiates
One look at her made your heart ache
God placed her on earthly ground
To turn my world upside down
When the angel sang out loud
She silenced the sound of my fan
To get closer, I ran and soared
Bursting through my wooden door
The angel now standing by my side
I praised the Lord for all his help
And for the first time in awhile
On my face, I had a smile.
