Sadly, there are a lot of people in society that are being misled and lied to on a daily basis. They are constantly being corrupted by their so called peers or by the people they look to as leaders. Because of this, they fail to acknowledge when criminal acts are being committed by them or when the civil rights of other people are being violated. There’s people that even condone the immoral behavior by twisting the truth or claiming that it’s being done “for the greater good.”
Sorry to disappoint anyone that disagree, but wrong is wrong, no matter how you try to justify it. 1 Thessalonians 5:21 says to “test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good.” In the very next verse, the Bible say we do this by “stay(ing) away from every kind of evil.” So, if a politician tells you to not believe a report about them committing a crime, don’t just blindly take their word for it. Do your own research to see if the accusations are true. Then, compare the ethics of what they did to the scriptures of the Bible to see if what they actually did or did not do was right or wrong.
I believe there are good people out there being purposely misled in order for evil people to fulfill their selfish desires. The deceiver uses things like the religion and the background of others to gain support for their cause. For those who deceive, God will punish them in due time. All I ask is for people to open their eyes. You don’t have to disrespect people that don’t see the world the way you do to confirm what you believe. Do your research, agree to disagree with people that have views that don’t align with yours, and most important of all, don’t support anyone or anything that you know in your heart is immorally wrong.
